Topp Knotch Personnel, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer that recognizes the value of a diverse workforce. All qualified individuals will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, disability and/or protected veteran status.
In 1995, Diedria B. Joseph established Topp Knotch Personnel, Inc. as a premier, high-caliber contract and direct hire staffing agency. As a woman and minority small business owner, Joseph has led Topp Knotch Personnel as the President/CEO with offices in Texas, Louisiana, and Florida. Over the last 14 years, TKP has acquired various governmental and commercial contracts with a cumulative $50M in revenues. With several thousand employees and placements throughout the country, Topp Knotch Personnel has excelled as a global staffing resource that is “small enough to care, large enough to deliver.”
After years of successfully operating her business in New Orleans, Joseph became passionate about extending her reach. She expanded and established offices in Houston, Jacksonville, and Conroe, TX. She also extended her company offerings; not only specializing in contract and direct hire, but also expanding into drug and background check services, on-site management, vendor management, purchasing & procurement, and payroll services. With expanded staffing services, Topp Knotch Personnel shattered the mold of a basic “temporary agency” by becoming a one-stop source for every Human Resource need.
In 2009, Joseph received her CTS (Certified Temporary Staffing Professional) certification from the National Association of Personnel Services. This distinction displays her commitment to and understanding of the staffing, recruiting, and retention of skilled individuals in the staffing industry. In addition to her certifications in the staffing industry, Joseph has also participated in various management programs throughout the country, such as IMB Executive Management Training, Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, University of California - Anderson School of Management, and TUCKS School of Management. She is a graduate of Tulane University and the Clark Atlanta Executive Business Program.
Topp Knotch Personnel’s policy on equal employment opportunity prohibits discrimination based on—among other things—race, color, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, physical or mental disability, veteran status, or any other protected status or characteristic. This policy applies to recruiting, hiring, transfers, promotions, terminations, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment, and also states that retaliation against any employee who files a complaint regarding possible violations of this policy will not be tolerated. Topp Knotch Personnel is also committed to taking affirmative steps to promote the employment of minorities, women, persons with disabilities, and covered veterans. Every year, Topp Knotch Personnel develops affirmative action programs to support its commitment to equal employment opportunity, consistent with company policy and the company’s obligations as a contractor to the United States government.
